Relevant Experience:

Education: A master's degree in a relevant field such as international development, social sciences, statistics, political science or a related discipline, accompanied by a minimum of 6 years of relevant field.

Job Description:

Position: Provincial Coordinator

Reports To: Project Manager

Location: Karachi

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Field Coordinator will be responsible for general project coordination, documentation and reporting for the Project and ensuring that project implementation and reporting is in accordance with the Grant Agreements between CPDI and DRL for his/her respective province. The Project Coordinator will work closely with Project Manager and other team members in Finance, Administration, Procurement and Communication Units. The incumbent is required to provide field level technical supervision and support to the eight partner CSOs in Sindh.

The Provincial Coordinator will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  1. Provide operational engagement, networking and collaboration with project stakeholders, including Local Government, Elections and Rural Development Department, Local Government and Community Development Department, Government in Sindh and other relevant departments and Local Communities in Project Locations.
  2. Assist in implementation of project operational plan as per programme quality parameters and ensure that each activity is completed as per assigned budget.
  3. Undertake day to day planning, implementation and coordination of the project activities and be responsible for ensuring that implementation, planning (procurement, work plans) and reporting are in accordance with the Grants Agreements between CPDI and donor and adhere all required compliances.
  4. Assist in the coordination and monitoring of activities carried out by the consultants in Sind and finalize the reports with good quality.
  5. Carry out monthly review, planning meetings and analysis of the partners’ progress in Sindh province.
  6. Responsible for assisting in implementation of the project in the target districts of Sind, through implementing partners Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).
  7. Keep a close liaison with project partners and District Governments in order to enhance engagement.
  8. Carry out monitoring of partners activities at field level and submit reports according to the project requirement.
  9. Actively assist all CPDI Sind projects in organizing activities and ensure coordination and participation of the relevant stakeholders.
